Tangled Happy Headwrap Review

     During the past three weeks, the Midwest skies have been filled with snow, rain, and fog. In my opinion, the landscape looks beautifully ... dreary. What can make your heart happy on such cold, dreary days? If you guessed sledding or a steamy mug of hot cocoa, you are partially correct. The second answer is fashionable, warm clothing.

      Last Saturday, I received a package in the mail that included a gorgeous headwrap and a sweet note. The package was from Sara Freisberg, creator of Tangled Happy. (If you'd like, you can read our "Meet an Artist Day" conversation here.) I had previously asked Sara if I might review one of her crochet templates on my blog and she graciously agreed. Then, she went above and beyond my request and offered to crochet a headwrap for me. I happily accepted her offer, for as much as I would love to crochet my own headwrap, my crocheting skills are very poor. :)

      As an artist, one of the first things that caught my eye was the headwrap's nice design. The intricate weave of the yarn is gorgeous. I love how the headwrap connects with buttons rather than Velcro. It adds a distinctive flair that truly sets Jane's Tangled Headwrap apart from any other headwraps I've seen before.

      Jane's Tangled Headwrap pattern includes an explanation of how to adjust the size of the headwrap, definitions of key crochet lingo, a list of materials needed, descriptions of stitch combinations, and row-by-row crocheting instructions.

     The price of Jane's Tangled Headwrap pattern is currently $2.95. I believe that is a great bargain, especially considering the many extra tips included in the pattern. All patterns are e-mailed to buyers in a PDF format. Sara gives permission to buyers to sell products made from the pattern. However, the pattern itself is copyrighted and should not be reproduced.

**As you probably guessed, I edited all of the photo backgrounds with Photoshop. My camera isn't working very well, so I've been using the web cam on my laptop to take pictures for the blog. Today, it was very rainy and foggy outside, so I didn't want to risk taking my laptop outside. Thus, I just edited in some "snowy landscapes". :)
